The Academic School for Interior Design has been developed to aid in the continuing education of the interior design professional. You do not need to be a licensed professional or ASID to take these courses. They have been developed for anyone who wants to supplement their education in interior design. The courses offered are all "Related-Approved" by the Department of Professional Regulations of Florida and will count as fulfillment towards the 20 continuing education unit (CEU) hours required for registration renewal every two years.

The sole purpose of these courses is to build upon the basic knowledge of interior design thereby increasing the protection of the public health, safety and welfare. Many of the courses listed are HOME STUDY courses that you can take in the privacy of your home or office. Other courses are offered as seminars that consist of lectures, numerous concise support materials, hands-on demonstrations using a multi of media and class participation. The cost of both types of classes include all the essential materials to complete the course.

Consider a course of study in pursuit of a " Certificate in Interior Design".
