The Academic School for Interior Design is offering a
"Certificate Program"
in INTERIOR DESIGN

Education is a powerful tool and the surest  way to advance in any profession today.   The  "Certificate Program's" structure is built on education, experience and examination . The program will not only foster personal growth but will also enhance your professional development and knowledge of interior design.   It covers all subjects in a clear, concise manner that are necessary to serve the public and network in the interior design field.   It provides strong educational opportunities for those who want to have a career in interior design but do not have the finances or the time for lengthy studies. The "Certificate Program" is a home study directed course.  Only 500 contact hours are required  in order to graduate from the program, many of the courses having been certified to teach to licensed interior designers and some by the IDC; the Interior Design Continuing Education Council. There is no time limit on completion.  You work at your own pace. Completion of the Certificate Program signifies the strong effort you have put forth to graduate from the Academic School of Interior Design and desire to serve the public in a professional manner.  Upon graduation of this "Certificate Program", one could pursue work in the field of interior design along with 1000's of other professionals by using your learned skills in a rewarding career.

Consider a course of study in pursuit of
a Certificate in Interior Design


Requirements:

Student performance will be evaluated for each certificate course taken at time of completion.  A minimum grade equivalency of C in each course must be achieved in order to apply the course toward the Certificate.  A final portfolio and/or final project review is required for graduation of the "Certificate Program".

Tuition and registration fees:

All the materials and tools  are provided to the student via mail (with the exception of field trips).  Tuition per contact hour is $10.00. plus a small shipping and handling fee. You pay tuition at the time you order the contact hour course. Sorry but no refunds. Upon completion of a contact course, an additional Certificate administration fee of $25.00 is assessed, to be sent in with testing materials.

The Academic School for Interior Design cannot offer financial aid at this time.  All payments must be made with a personal check, money order or certified cashiers check.  There is a $50.00 fee for returned checks.   All correspondence is done via Federal Express Ground or US Postal Service. Requesting other shipping methods will result in an additional cost. International shipping is at a higher shipping/handling rate than US. This is a non-degree certificate program and we do not discriminate on the basis of sex, age, martial status, race, color, creed, handicap, national or ethic origin, or actual or perceived sexual orientation.
